General repairs, fixtures, fittings and exterior maintenance — four categories, one point of contact for the jobs that come up again and again.
Repairs, adjustments, realignment, locks and hardware.
Plumbing fixtures, flooring, drywall, roofing and routine property upkeep.
TV mounting, shelving, blinds, curtain poles and furniture assembly.
Fencing, gates, pressure washing, sheds and exterior painting.
Every property and every job is different, so these are estimate ranges rather than a fixed rate card. You'll always get a confirmed price before anything starts — no surprises, no hourly-rate stress.
This covers the cost of the visit, so it works best when there's enough to justify the trip — happy to help bundle a few smaller jobs into one call-out to make it worthwhile.

Managing maintenance across a portfolio means chasing contractors, juggling availability and hoping the job's done right first time. Done By SD is set up to be the one call that handles it — general repairs and maintenance, sorted without the back and forth.
One reliable point of contact instead of coordinating multiple trades for a single property.
We don't compete on being the cheapest quote. We compete on turning up, communicating clearly, and doing the job right the first time — which is exactly what busy agents, landlords and homeowners actually want from a contractor.
Always worth getting a quote first — send a couple of photos and a bit of detail over WhatsApp or email, and I'll come back with a proper estimate before anything's booked in. That way there's no surprises on price once I'm on site.
There's a £95 minimum call-out charge, which covers the cost of the visit — it works best when there's enough to do to justify the trip, and I'm always happy to help bundle a few jobs into one visit. Beyond that, each job's estimated on what's actually involved rather than a flat hourly rate, so you know roughly what to expect. I'll always confirm a price before starting, and nothing extra gets added without your say-so.
General property maintenance and repairs — from fixtures and fittings to door and window repairs and everyday odd jobs. If it's something a letting agent, landlord or homeowner needs sorting, it's worth asking.
Anything outside safe scope for a handyman — major electrical work, gas work, and structural building work aren't covered. If a job needs a different trade, I'll say so upfront and point you in the right direction rather than take it on anyway.
Yes — that's a big part of what Done By SD is set up for. One point of contact for maintenance and repairs across a portfolio, rather than juggling multiple contractors for jobs that often overlap.
Get in touch for a quote — same-day response, most jobs.
